Avalon School is a magical place.  Why would I use that word to describe an educational setting?  The highly skilled teachers are caring and never stop helping.  The students are kind and courteous and never give up. The parents are loving and involved in ways that make the school run smoothly. 

My role at Avalon has been of professional development. Helping teachers to deliver the best curriculum to the students on an individual basis fluidly and compassionately.  I have helped establish the leveled library so that every student has a book that they can read. 

The magic comes when all of these factors come together to create a culture of success and belonging.  It is a sight to see as each component of the school blends to create a set up for success.
